Dr. Sanjay Kolte

Dr Sanjay Kolte is a general surgeon based in Pune, India. He is well specialized in Laparoscopy, Endoscopy, Thoracoscopy and Gastrointestinal surgeries. He has successfully done multiple emergency and general surgeries. He works as a General Surgeon in Sahyadri Hospital, a well-known hospital in Pune.

Educational Details:

He completed his MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Medical College, Pune in the October 1995. He did FCPS (Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons) in General Surgery in Mumbai, India in September 2000. Then in May 2001, he took Diploma of National Board (DNB) in General Surgery from King Edward Memorial Hospital, Pune. He was the Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He got Fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery from Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi (which is recognized by Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons-SAGES, USA). He completed Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery from Louis Pasteur University, Strasbourg, France. He was a member of Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, England and Fellow of Minimally Invasive Surgeons of India (AMASI).

Surgeries Done:

Having taken training of laparoscopy in Mumbai, Delhi and France, Dr Sanjay Kolte is expert in doing laparoscopic surgeries. He has handled almost 3000 cases of laparoscopy including appendectomies, colorectal, cancer surgeries, hernias, obesity surgeries, etc. He also has successfully done around 2000 Gastroscopies , 1000 Colonoscopies and 500 stapler surgeries for piles. He has cleverly cured trauma patients and has lot of experience in treating trauma that includes fire arm injuries, road accident cases, etc. He offers advanced surgical options in the areas of endoluminal and minimally invasive surgery, surgical endoscopy, gastro esophageal reflux disease, and treatment of malignant disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
